Lightobscura

‘from every darkness comes light and discovery’

The lightobscura project is a simple way to bring a touch of brightness to your day. It’s my chance to share personal imagery and inspiring reflections, and it dovetails nicely with theXposedProject, where we offer selected, signed 8x10s as downloadable files. Through lightobscura, I also hope to highlight other meaningful ventures and photography that radiate generosity and spark inspiration. If you know of any projects or initiatives that deserve a little extra light, please reach out—I’d love to learn more!

Cheers,

Dwayne.

Discovery

December 26, 2024

"Seeing is more than looking—it’s discovering the layers hidden in plain view."

Sight is a gift, but seeing is a skill. Photography teaches us to slow down and truly observe the world, finding beauty and meaning in what’s often overlooked. This image reminds us that perspective changes everything—whether through a lens or with the naked eye, it’s about how we choose to see. Pause, focus, and let the world reveal itself to you.
