Studio Headshots: $295.00 + tax

Our studio headshots are taken on a classic, solid background. This can range from white to different tones of grey to black, or even a canvas backdrop. A monochromatic background allows the person being photographed to really stand out and sets the context for the brand story being presented. The result is a consistent, polished look that emphasizes you while providing a quiet background setting that enriches your overall look.

Deliverables: One fully finessed, sized and cropped image (in 3 sizes) from a previously selected online viewing/proofing gallery. Additional images are available for an extra fee.

Location Headshots: $325.00 + tax

Our location headshots have a soft, out of focus backdrop and are taken outside the studio in an environment that will offer helpful branding context to the story. They offer an added, smooth layer of information about the person being photographed and enriches the narrative, elevating the overall feel of the image. The result is an impactful portrait that tells a visual story through its enhanced atmosphere.

Frequently Asked Questions

Posing for a photo and, in this case, a portrait that will connect you in a special way with the viewer, can be a little daunting. Here are some questions and answers to help your experience feel more comfortable and positive.

Q. Is an “in studio” session better than an “on location” portrait session?
A. Both options are great. However, the “in studio” session takes place in a quieter setting, allowing for longer pauses and no external distractions. The “on location” option will feel like you are “out and about”. Focus is solely still on you, of course.

Q. What should I wear for my headshot?
A. We suggest wearing something that you feel good in, fits well and compliments your personal style. What you wear should not detract from your face but softly complement it. Wear comfortable pants and footwear if it helps (we won’t see it!). Feel free to bring an accessory and a couple of clothing options.

Q. What if I'm nervous in front of a camera?
A. Most people, even those who enjoy getting their photo taken, feel uneasy when getting their photo taken. At the beginning of each session we like to chat and to put the person at ease. We find that it helps if we know how you are feeling. If you are really nervous, an “in studio” session will give you a more relaxed experience. We also suggest trying to bring a positive attitude and getting a good night's sleep the night before.

Q. Do you retouch or edit my headshots?
A. Post production time and process is a very important part of our work. After each session a number of photographs is selected, edited and prepared for an online viewing gallery. When the final image is chosen, it is further finessed/photoshopped and polished with great care.
