The 60 at 60 Project

As we move through 2023 and dip into 2024, and to help celebrate my 40th year in business and my recent 60th birthday, I’ll be doing my best to capture 60 new BW personal portraits during the year. Capturing portraits has always been my ‘happy place’ and I’m really looking forward to the creative challenge of capturing 60 new ones!

It was lovely spending time in the studio with my friend, Jake Volt, this afternoon. We chatted about the value of words (without exclamation marks!), the local advertising community, dog walking, and family (of course) while taking a few photos for 60at60. Anyone who has worked in advertising in Ottawa knows that Jake Volt is one of the nicest and most talented ad guys in town. Over the years, he's worked at all the big agencies, been a partner in one, and now has fun making a difference teaching advertising at Algonquin.
