As a photographer, I’ve always believed it’s important to shoot every day. During the COVID-19 social distancing lockdown, I’ve used solo photowalks and this daily desire to preserve my calm and to keep positively focused. After taking stock of the imagery created, I wanted to do something helpful with the photographs. I’ve curated a gallery, including 50 of my favourite images from the past 50 days. All images are for sale as 8x10 prints with the proceeds being donated to HighJinx, the Ottawa based social enterprise and safe house. HighJinx generously helps its marginalized neighbours in Centretown with free food, mental health and logistical assistance and, of course, friendship!
(All images were shot between March 15th and May 3rd, during the COVID-19 social distancing lockdown. Prints are priced at $50.00 + tax, including shipping. The proceeds will be donated to HighJinx, Ottawa’s very generous and kind social enterprise. This online gallery will only be available until May 15th, 2020)
